Abstract

Good health of the citizens is very essential for growth and development of every nation. A better human capital is in fact an asset as it increases employment, productivity as well as growth rate of the economy A healthy community is the infrastructure up on which an economically viable society can be built. Realising the significance that a healthy population is vital for a healthy nation, Indian economy gave prime role to the development of health infrastructure through its new mission AYUSH.
