[b]Apparent Approximation of the Conditions of Competition and Access to the Investment Funds’ Market in Connection with Implementation of the UCITS IV Directive in Poland[/b]

Abstract
The article is intended to present guidelines included in the UCITS IV Directive concerning harmonizing domestic laws in order to bring closer the conditions of competition between undertakings for collective investment and to ensure the freedom to provide services by management companies. The author presents the development of the concept of freedom to establish and provide services within the European Union, as well as verifies the adopted model of implementation of the UCITS IV Directive in Poland. By making an analysis of this model, the author simultaneously analyses the potential impact of the regulations on the investment funds’ market in Poland.
