Basic definitions of the term "Political activism" in modern political discourse

Abstract
In the article basic interpretations of term “activism”, his origin, place in the system of contiguous concepts of synonymous row, basic differences and displays in practical political reality are examined. Grounded, that activism in the wide understanding is one of forms of social and political participation, in particular protest.
