[b]DEVELOPMENT OF A MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF TANDEM SCRAPERS[/b]

Abstract
Performance of the tandem scraper in the pushing mode, when coupled, while the forward scraper is digging has been considered; and deformation of the drawbar springing element has been analyzed. A procedure for load calculation has been developed. Application of a springing element in the drawbar protecting the scraper structure from destructive dynamical loads has been described.
