Abstract
Numerous philosophers in their works have given special attention to the essence of safety and its significance in human lives, as well as in the process of im-proving state of the world by making it more safe and fair. Jan Amos Komeński`s no-tions undoubtedly fit in with those currents of thought. Komeński`s works indicate his strong moral convictions on the subject of universal education as a prerequisite for ensuring peace, mutual agreement between nations and friendship which will be a cornerstone of the bright future of humanity. In addition, the author is a firm believer in human ability to control forces of nature, which will be a turning point in our ef-forts to ensure common prosperity, resulting in safe, happy and free life.
