Bezpieczeństwo w ruchu drogowym w Europie : założenia polityki UE i ocena podejmowanych działań z perspektywy danych statystycznych

Abstract
Recent statistics show that the level of safety on the roads within the European Union is the highest in the world. However, compared with the data from the two previous years, the number of fatalities in road accidents per million inhabitants has not changed. This article will discuss the main objectives of the EU program to improve safety, accident statistics, the main issues concerning road safety and the importance of interdisciplinary and comprehensive measures to increase security.
