БИЛИНГВИЗМ И ДИГЛОССИЯ В АЗЕРБАЙДЖАНЕ

Abstract
The concept of bilingualism and diglossia. Various processes related to them, characteristic of Azerbaijan are analyzed, the aspects of bilingualism are considered, the classification of linguals is given in this article. Bilingualism is examined from different attitudes, having been a socio-cultural phenomenon it is studied in linguistic, psychological, sociological, pedagogical and other aspects and various points of view are analyzed. The diversity of forms of bilingualism depends on the level of language knowledge, purposes for which language skills of character and conditions of interaction are gained. Favorable conditions of bilingual educational environment in Azerbaijan create potentialities for personal growth, and the process of education in bilingual instructional (educational) environment - a means of activating value-semantic formation of the individual, allowing to enter into the dialogue with polycultural environment and being key factor for successful integration into the international education space.
