Botryomycosis Due to [i]Staphylococcus Aureus[/i] – A Case Report

Abstract

Botryomycosis is a rare granulomatous disease. We report a patient with multiple discharging sinuses and oedema on the back following trauma. Microbiological examination revealed [i]Staphylococcus aureus[/i] as the causative agent. The patient responded to antibiotic co-trimoxazole.
