Buccal metastases and lung cancer - a case report

Journal Title: Αρχεία Ελληνικής Ιατρικής - Year 2008, Vol 25, Issue 6

Abstract

The case is presented of a 68-year-old man with a lung adenocarcinoma, with buccal and cutaneous metastases, which subsided after a chemotherapy regime combining a platinum derivative and paclitaxel. Follow-up of 12 months revealed no reappearance of the old nor occurrence of new metastases. Further studies are needed in order to understand the polymorphism and the best treatment of buccal metastases.
