[b]Utilization Of Tower Cranes In Construction Of Multi[/b]

Abstract
Dams, Roads, Bridges, Buildings, Over head Water Tanks, Towers, High etc. The present paper deals with the material handling equipment involved in the construction of multistoried buildings / High-rise buildings where the manual handling is very difficult. The main equipment is TOWER CRANE. The utilization of Tower Crane in terms of manua effectiveness with that of manual handling. The findings have revealed that the Mechanical Handling time saving is 75 times than the manual work and the reduction in cost of labour times. Suggestions are made t improvement of the efficiency of the equipment
