CAMINHOS DA LEITURA: UM ESTUDO DA FORMAÇÃO DE LEITORES EM CONTEXTO INTERCULTURAL DE FRONTEIRA.

Abstract
This paper aims to present the final results of a qualitative research of ethnographic nature entitled The reader formation in an educational scenery of an intercultural border, held in order to analyze a Portuguese language teaching context, seeking to interpret the actions undertaken by the social agents involved there, checking how the formation of the reader in a multilingual and multicultural scenario. To generate the records, audio and video recordings realized of lectures and developed field journals assisted. Such records were analysed in the light of the theoretical assumptions of Kleiman (1993 and 2004), Silva (2009), Grosjean (1994) among others, who helped me to realize how participants are involved in the construction of social reality through language. Through this research, I hope to contribute future reflections on teaching English in contexts where multilingualism and multiculturalism are factors which cannot be ignored.
