Career decisions of people over 50 in the light of Edgar Schein’s concept of career anchors

Abstract
The article deals with career choices of people over 50 and their situation in the labour market. The purpose of the study is to identify values that experienced employees take into account when making career decisions. The author analyses the problem using results collected in a survey based on Edgar Schein’s career anchors questionnaire.
