CAUSES OF FOREST FIRES

Abstract
The article analyzes the causes of forest fires, defined the terms of the problematic issues in terms of research and formed own conclusions aimed at solving problems related to safe human activity, society and the state in general. It is noted that at the moment Ukraine, like many countries of Europe and America, is at the epicenter of forest fire hazards. In particular, in 2017, the number of fires in open territories increased significantly on the territory of the state. And despite the global forest fires that are becoming more and more widespread and frequent every year, the world community is concerned about forest fires in our region of alienation, which, by their consequences, are too significant, since they liberate and raise in the air of those radionuclides that are deposited on the surface of the earth. At the same time, over the past few years, the number and extent of forest fires near the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant has increased. According to statistics, human activity itself is the main cause of the occurrence of fires in natural ecosystems. The most common causes of forest fires associated with the human factor are: the lack of timely extinguishing of grass fires, which are either carelessly or deliberately fired, especially on agricultural land and often lead to much heavier forest and peat fires; fire in reserves, forest protection centers, in forests that are in use by different owners, mainly agro-forestry or communal forest enterprises, where the level of fire safety is poorly controlled, and therefore, far from always complies with regulatory requirements. Consequently, the attention of academics, practitioners and relevant authorized representatives of the state should now focus on the development of joint, effective mechanisms to optimize the hazards associated with fire disasters, in particular in forest areas.
