CERTIFICATION - The final and critical stage of every civil or military aviation program
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2012, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
As a general rule the final step in every aviation program is the certification of the airplane, an important step in which the airplane, the engins and the equipments are checked by an authority or commission according to the airworthiness rules. The main scope of the certification is to promote a safe aviation product and to protect the general public from unnecessary risk. In all the contries the national authorieties require a civil certificability for all the parts or equipments and a full aircraft certification for a new or wholly modified airplane. The military aircrafts must pased and respond to a specific way of certification and many actual efforts are done in order to unify the diffrent national rules in this field. This paper presents the existing situation in the certification of civil and military airplans and the actual measures done for the unification of certification procedures in the world.

A Physical – Geometrical Model of an Early Universe
A physical-geometrical model for a possible early universe is proposed. One considers an initial singularity containing the energy of the whole universe. The singularity expands as a spherical wave at the speed of light...

FLEXURAL OSCILLATIONS OF FLEXIBLE AIRFOILS IN SUBSONIC COMPRESSIBLE FLOWS
This paper presents simple and efficient analytical solutions for unsteady subsonic compressible flows past flexible airfoils executing low frequency oscillations. These analytical solutions are obtained with a method us...
Prediction of Broadband Noise from Symmetric and Cambered Airfoils
Aerodynamic sound generation and self-noise mechanisms from lifting surfaces such as airfoil involve the fields of classical acoustics and fluid mechanics. In this paper, trailing edge noise production is evaluated using...
Safety management of formation flying in an aerobatic team
The article is focused on explaining the notion of safety from the aspect of generally applicable standards established by the ICAO. It describes the role of human factor played by the pilot´s personality in an aerobatic...
