CHANGES IN THE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF HEALTH CARE UNITS

Abstract
The condition for the existence and development of every organization is making changes in the different areas of its functioning. Continuous transformations in health care units greatly enhance the complexity of the management and implementation of changes in their functioning. The small amount of money available in the Polish health care system makes its look for ways to reduce costs or eliminate losses. In addition, the health care system needs innovation to improve the functioning of health care units. Their support should be a part of state policy, which would result in systemic changes. The aim of the article is to exhibition the changes in the management of health care units undertaken so far. The article also includes proposals for changes that should be introduced in the management of health units in Poland in order to ensure a better system of their operation and greater efficiency.
