CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS IDENTIFIED IN THE LEAF GLANDS OF ROSA AGRESTIS SAVI AND ROSA RUBIGINOSA L.

Abstract

The multicellular clavate glands observed in the adaxial face of the leaf, the edge of the leaf, the rachis and stipules elaborate volatile oils whose chemic composition changes at the same time with springs’ maturation. The main components are: monoterpenes, aliphatic and aromatic compounds.
