Christopher Marlowe’s Modernity in His Poetry, Religion and Drama
Journal Title: International Journal of Linguistics and Computational Applications - Year 2018, Vol 5, Issue 3
Abstract
This paper will treat of Marlowe’s dramatic principles based on religion and poetry. The protagonists of Marlowe’s plays will appear to be slaves of their respective passion. In pursuing their objects of passion all of them have used pompous language, highly decorative and ornamental. It signals complete emptiness of life and language. Then it seems that such heroes are social misfits.
