ЦИРКАДНЫЕ СЕНСОРНЫЕ РИТМЫ ТЕРМИТОВ ANACANTHOTERMES AHNGERIANUS JACOBS

Abstract
The circadian rhythms of termite reaction to odor and light were studied in Anacanthotermes ahngerianus Jacobs termite species. It turned out that the reaction to the pheromone-containing extract odor was most expressed in the morning and at night, and the response to light was maximal in the morning and afternoon hours. The response to both these signals was unidirectional in the minor, middle and major ages. However, the amplitude of oscillations of sensory circadian rhythms as on the odor, and on the light was most expressed in the major termite workers. These data show that in regulating the sensory rhythms termite activity both endogenous and exogenous mechanisms take part
