Clinical Study of Osteosynthesis in Fracture Neck of Femur

Abstract

The aim of the study is to analyse a viable treatment option for fracture neck of femur – considered to be difficult in achieving union. Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of multiple cancellous screws as a treatment for fracture neck of femur. Materials and Methods: A prospective study of 40 cases of fracture neck of femur treated by multiple cancellous screw fixation was followed up and clinically evaluated. Result: Early surgical intervention using multiple cancellous screws gave good results. Conclusion: It is an easy less invasive produce with fewer complications.
