Closing the Health Gaps
Journal Title: Annals of Agricultural and Environmental Medicine - Year 2012, Vol 19, Issue 1
Abstract
For several decades, epidemics of chronic, non-contagious diseases have been observed in the developed countries worldwide. However, considerable health differences are noted between countries, even on the same continent, as well as between individual population groups in particular countries. These differences are very clearly observable in Europe. Professor Zatoński in his studies (HEM, PONS Study) tries to explain the causes of this phenomenon.
