CLUSTER POLICY AS A TOOL FOR IMPROVING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF THE REGIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract
Today clusters are the effective way in the development of the regional economics. In the article the authors present a methodological approach to the cluster character determining, classifications of clusters and their functioning. Clusterization of the sciencebusiness-production demonstrates possibilities of the production achievement of the selected purposes in the politics of the region development. The authors of the research analyze cases of cluster policy implementation in Ukraine to single out the tiers of cluster policy forming and implementation in region. The article studies the role cluster of the region as the main coordinator of cooperation between cluster participants in the region. The results of the research enable a conclusion that cluster policy implementation in region will improve the competitive ability of regional cluster entities.
