Commonness of nanosilver application as an environmental risk factor

Abstract
Silver nanoparticles have the strong bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal properties. Because of its properties they are widely used in many of daily life products, for example medical, cosmetic, textile and household. Silver in the form of nanoparticles can be released into the environment at each stage of the life cycle of products, and their main carrier is wastewater. The migration process causes that on the toxic effect of nanosilver most organisms of the aquatic environment are exposed.
