COMMUNICATIVE DIMENSION OF PEDAGOGICAL DISCOURSE

Abstract
The article deals with the communicative dimension of pedagogical discourse. The essence and specificity of vocational and pedagogical communication are analyzed. The basic signs of pedagogical discourse are defined, the strategies and tactics of the teacher’s linguistic behavior are described. The functions of the teacher’s communication and their significance for establishing effective interaction between the teacher and pupils in the class are considered. The importance of pedagogical communication, which plays a significant role in the organization of the educational process and provides the teacher with knowledge of laws, rules and methods of effective communication, is proved. The main components of the speech act as the unit of pedagogical discourse are highlighted.
