Comparative Study on Face Recognition using HGPP, PCA, LDA, ICA and SVM
Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper performance of five face recognition algorithms i.e. HGPP, PCA, LDA, ICA and SVM is compared. The basis of the comparison is the rate of accuracy of face recognition. These algorithms are employed on the ATT database and IFD database. We find that HGPP has the highest rate of accuracy of recognition when it is applied on the ATT database whereas LDA outperforms the all other algorithms when it is applied to IFD database.
Matrix Convolution using Parallel Programming
The convolution theorem is used to multiply matrices of two different sizes i.e. matrices in which the number of rows in the first matrix is not equal to the number of columns in the second matrix. In this study, the mul...
Autism and Seisures in Children Admitted in a Tertiary Hospital
Autism is associated with epilepsy in early childhood, with evidence suggesting that individuals with both autism and more severecognitive impairment are at higher risk. The frequency of an abnormal electroencephalogram...
Improving Data Distribution in Delay Tolerant Mobile Network
This work center on data dissemination in mobile ad-hoc network. The main operation involved in such networks is the data sharing. The day-to-day increasing demand of wireless communication creates various problems such...
Integral Solutions of the Homogeneous Biquadratic Diophantine Equations with Five Unknowns (X2 - Y2) (3X2 + 3Y2 ?2XY) = 12(Z2 ?W2)T2
"Four different patterns are used to find non-zero distinct integral solutions for the homogeneous biquadratic Diophantine equations (X2 - Y2) (3X2 + 3Y2 ?2XY) = 12(Z2 ?W2)T2. Different types of properties are exposed i...
