Comparison of R.C.C. And Composite Multistoried Buildings
Journal Title: International Journal of engineering Research and Applications - Year 2017, Vol 7, Issue 7
Abstract
Steel concrete composite construction has gained wide acceptance world wide as an alternative to pure steel and pure concrete construction. The use of steel in construction industry is very low in India compared to many developing countries. There is a great potential for increasing the volume of steel in construction, especially in the current development needs India and not using steel as an alternative construction material and not using it where it is economical is a heavy loss for the country. In the present work steel concrete composite with RCC options are considered for comparative study of G+15 story building which is situated in earthquake zone-IV and for earthquake loading, the provisions of IS: 1893 (Part1)-2002 is considered. A three dimensional modelling and analysis of the structure are carried out with the help of ETAB software. Index terms: Composite column, Composite beam, shear connectors, ETAB Software

Gaussian Integer Solutions of Homogeneous Ternary Quadratic Equation x y73x y 54z z2 16xy z
The homogeneous ternary quadratic equation x y 73x y 54z z 16xy z 2 has been analysed for its Gaussian integer solutions. Three different choices of Gaussian integer solutions are presented. Also, a few...
Image Edge Detection and Segmentation by using Histogram Thresholding method
A new approach used for image edge deduction, segmentation and normalization illumination under varying lighting conditions are presented. Edge detection refers to the process of identifying and locating sharp by applyin...
Applications of quartering method in soils and foods
Sampling is a technique and a science. If the appropriate technique is followed it reduces the bulk mass and helps to respect the batch composition as best as possible. Non-representative sampling results in incorrect an...
Performance Study of Square Footing Resting Over Geo-Grid Reinforced Sand
Decreasing availability of good construction sites and increasing construction activities for infrastructural developments throughout the world has forced the civil engineers to utilize unsuitable sites or weak soil. So...
Data Center: Energetic and Economic Analysis of a More Efficient Refrigeration System with Free Cooling and the avoided CO2 Emissions
The use of air conditioning equipment is becoming more frequent, and new technologies are emerging to increase the efficiency of the process and decrease the operating costs of air conditioning systems. In data centres,...
