Competitiveness of insurance companies in modern conditions of economic transformations

Abstract
The article is devoted to the issue of forming the competitiveness of insurance companies in modern conditions of economic transformations. The current state of the Ukrainian insurance market and factors shaping the competitive environment of insurance companies are analyzed. The dynamics of competition in the insurance market of Ukraine is researched. The basic methods of formation of competitive advantages are presented.
