Compositional fuzzy modeling of energy- and resource saving in socio-technical systems
Journal Title: EAI Endorsed Transactions on Energy Web - Year 2019, Vol 6, Issue 21
Abstract
The paper poses the problem of increasing the efficiency of energy- and resource saving in socio-technical systems, which consist of resource-intensive subsystems (for example, subsystems of electricity, heat and water supply). A compositional fuzzy model for efficiency estimating of energy- and resource saving of socio-technical systems is proposed. This compositional fuzzy model consists of the following models: firstly, a set of fuzzy cognitive models for estimating the effects of actions on the subsystems’ indicators; secondly, a set of fuzzy rules-based models for efficiency estimating of energy- and resource saving of subsystems; thirdly, a generalized fuzzy model for efficiency estimating of energy- and resource saving of system as a whole. The procedure of compositional fuzzy modeling of energy- and resource saving in socio-technical systems is described.

Disaster Impact Mitigation using KDD and Support Vector Machine algorithms
Disasters such as Hurricanes, Typhoons, Floods and earthquakesare not good for the society since it causes serious damage for the society. A natural disaster causes loss in property as well as in life of victims. The vic...
Mathematical model of energy storage for the calculation of electromechanical processes in power systems
The paper proposes and describes a mathematical model of an energy storage system based on a battery energy storage system as part of an electric power system for calculating transient electromechanical processes. The re...
A balanced energy consumption-based routing protocol for efficient data gathering in underwater ASNs
Energy is a unique characteristic of Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks (UASNs) which is limited in features and a basic point on which the whole network depends. On the basis of efficient energy utilization, we propose a...
