Computed tomography examinations with application of intravenous contrast medium

Abstract
T he contrast medium plays the significant role within the process of computed tomography examination. It allows for the precise evaluation of pathology, what is combined with the selection examination method. It can be diagnostic delay, the technique of test bole or exploring the contrast medium with monitoring the inflow in the real time. These techniques require the adjustment the individual parameters in order to achieve desirable phases of the enhancement.
