CONCEPT “CRIME” AND ITS REPRESENTATION IN THE NATIVE PICTURE OF THE WORLD (ON THE MATERIAL OF UKRAINIAN LANGUAGE)

Abstract
The article deals with the linguistic problem of the verbalization of the concept “crime” in the everyday picture of the world on the example of the analysis of linguistic units and proverbs and sayings, biblical commandments representing the concept of “crime” in Ukrainian linguistic culture. The connection between the concept of “crime” and concepts “sin”, “vice”, “immorality”, as well as the features of fixing the emotional experience of native language speakers in the lexical units that reflect the concept in the language, have been revealed.
