CONCEPT OF PERSONALITY IN PEOPLE PEDAGOGY

Abstract
The article deals with the research of domestic scientists on the problem of the formation of personality in folk pedagogy, which consisted in the combination of family and social education. The analysis of numer- ous scientific works made it possible to highlight the aspect of the unity of man and nature in the families of Ukrainian peasants, the education of children of such moral virtues as duty and responsibility, diligence, decency, thoroughness, prudence, etc. Historical analysis enables to engage in productive methods of family and social education of children from the early age by involving them in forced labor, gradual participation in the productive, social and spiritual life of the family and the community, which can be used as a significant component of the system of national education of youth in the Ukraine.
