CONCEPTION OF THE DESALINATION PLANT AT BAŃSKA NIŻNA – USABILITY OF A POST-PROCESS CONCENTRATE

Abstract
The preliminary analysis of usability of the post-process concentrate is presented. The post-process concentrate is obtained as a result of desalination of thermal waters exploited by Bańska IG 1 well. The variability of saturation indexes (SI) due to increase of conversion of thermal water to drinking water was calculated. The post-process concentrate may be used in a balneology or a recreation. However, using of the post-process concentrate in balneology/recreation is conditioned by concentration of boron. Others variants of usability of the post-process concentrate e.g.: as an industrial scaled source of boron (with strontium) or road salt are not applicable.
