CONCEPTIONS OF REFORMATION MECHANISMS OF INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT DISPUTES SETTLEMENT

Abstract
In the article the author gives a general description of the methods of international investment disputes settlement and emphasizes the cons of each of them. Also discusses the nowaday problematic issues of the methods of inter- national investment disputes settlement (International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes as an example). The author notes about the existing problems in this area and gives an example of Latin American countries with statistics on settled disputes. The article points to the position of Latin American lawyers on the causes of the crisis of modern mechanisms of international investment disputes settlement, and reveal relevant ideas of leading Europe- an scientists in law how to tackle problems in this area and there is determined the current trends for reforming the international investment disputes settlement mechanisms.
