Abstract
Purpose. To form the influence of seasonal and social factors on the nature of water consumption from the water supply network for their further consideration during planning effective power consumption. Methodology. The mathematical apparatus of discriminant analysis has been used to find similarity in the daily water consumption graphs from the water supply network. To identify the influence of seasonal factors, daily water consumption graphs have been de-scribed with a set of classical indicators of daily graphs unevenness. To detect the influence of seasonal factors, daily water consumption graphs have been described with a set of morphometric parameters. Results. The interpretation of differences has been performed and sets of variables that are the most contributing to discrimination of groups of water consumption graphs from the water supply network have been defined. It has been established that according to the influence of seasonality the largest contribution is the amount of daily water consumption from the water supply network, and, due to the influence of social factors, elongation. This has been confirmed the assumption of the influence of the changes the life rhythm of the population depending on the season and day type on the water consumption nature. Canonical discriminatory functions have been constructed and their statistical significance has been checked too. This provides an opportunity to forecast the accordance of daily water consumption graphs to one of the typical groups. Originality. The procedure for taking into consideration the influence of seasonal and social factors on the nature of water consumption from the water supply network has been proposed for the first time. Its implementation allows forming groups of similar graphs by season and type of day. Objects that form each of the groups have the general regularities of the influence of discriminant variables. Practical value. We can detect the accordance of new water consumption graphs from the water supply network to typical groups by season and day type. This provides the possibility of planning energy efficient water supply regime and efficient power consumption regime. References 10, tables 8.
