CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE STUDY OF THE PLASTIC COLLISIONS BETWEEN A BODY AND A VIBRATING PLATE
Journal Title: ACTA TECHNICA NAPOCENSIS, Series: Applied Mathematics, Mechanics, and Engineering - Year 2016, Vol 59, Issue 0
Abstract
The vertical movement of a body which is thrown repeatedly from a vibrating plate that has sinusoidal movements is studied. Between the vibrating plate and the body a plastic collision occurs. The theoretical background is presented and also some numerical results, calculated with C software, for different values of mechanical system parameters and initial conditions.
STUDIES ON THE BRAKING BEHAVIOUR OF THE VEHICLES USING NUMERICAL MODELS AND COMPUTERIZED SIMULATION
The paper aims to evaluate the parameters which characterize the braking process of vehicles, using numerical models and computerized simulation, in the case of various loads and various rolling conditions, so that the d...
CAD DESIGN OF THE ROOF FOR A NEW FARM STRUCTURE WITH DOUBLE FUNCTIONS
In this paper are presented the CAD design modalities for construction of a dual function of a agrozootehnical building structure, the study focusing on designing and modeling the roof shape. In the first part of the pap...
AN ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK APPROACH TO ESTIMATE THE VISCOSITY OF BIODIESEL-DIESEL-ETHANOL BLENDS
In order to estimate the viscosity of biodiesel-diesel fuel-bioethanol blends viscosity data of 15 ternary blends - measured between 273.15 K and 343.15 K - were used. Two artificial neural networks, with one and two neu...
A COMPUTING METHOD OF THE POSITIONAL ACCURACY FOR THE R-R-R TYPE SERIAL ROBOT
The accuracy is one of the main characteristics of the robots working in industry and in other domains. The industrial robots resolution, accuracy and repetability are influenced by some factors e. g. the actuators, type...
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE DYNAMICAL STUDY OF TRAVELLING LOAD ON AN ELASTIC BEAM
In this paper there are studied two mechanical systems, containing an elastic element bar type, leaning to both ends, in the case of the first a mass is moving on the elastic beam with constant or variable speed and on t...
