Control as a means of ensuring national interests

Abstract
The article deals with philosophical and methodological aspects of providing control mechanisms in a modern state in the conditions of contradiction between state and public interests, describes the practical problems of implementation and functioning of parliamentary control over the executive power, examines the experience of constructing a system of checks and balances in the conditions of separation of authorities in foreign countries and opportunities of its borrowing in Ukraine.
