CORPORATE GOVERNANCE STANDARDS IN THE SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION OF UKRAINE: CONCEPTUAL VISION OF CHANGE

Abstract
The article defines the basic concepts concerning the standards of corporate governance and the possibilities and advantages of their implementation in the practice of the higher education system in Ukraine. Actuality of transformation of educational management is reasonable, as one of basic levers of civilization advancement of the state and providing of competitiveness of educational establishments on world markets. The main objects of redistribution of roles and powers in the process of transition of educational management to the corporate governance model have been identified. The main theoretical approaches to the definition “corporate governance” are presented and the peculiarities of the formation of corporate property in Ukraine through privatization, as well as under the influence of globalization tendencies of the institutional dynamics of corporate relations are formulated, which incline the general vector of the development of the national corporate governance model from the joint-stock to the stakeholder model. The analysis of certain aspects of internal control in part of its modernization through the development of an effective function of internal audit is carried out.
