Journal Title: Гастроентерологія - Year 2015, Vol 2, Issue 56
Abstract
In this work we have studied the correlation between body mass index and disorders of carbohydrate metabolism in patients with chronic pancreatitis. Correlation of body mass index with the levels of fasting glucose (r = 0.33; p = 0.01), HbA1c (r = 0.32; p = 0.02), immunoreactive insulin (r = 0.49; p < 0.0001) and HOMA-IR (r = 0.58; p < 0.0001) has been observed.
