Corruption as a negative factor in the activities of law enforcement agencies

Abstract
The article is devoted to the substantiation of the conceptual provisions on the issue of preventing and counteracting corruption in law enforcement agencies. The essence of the notion «corruption» is investigated and its types are revealed. The existing approaches to the prevention and counteraction of corruption are analyzed. Corruption in law enforcement bodies as a phenomenon in terms of system paradigm is investigated.
