Corruption threats of economic security of Ukraine

Abstract
Abstract. The subject of the study is theoretical and methodological principles of economic security and corruption. The purpose of the study is to justify possible ways to ensure economic security and overcome corruption. Research methods. The study uses a set of scientific methods and approaches, including logical generalization, systemic, method of comparisons, graphical, which allowed to ensure the conceptual unity of research. Results of work. The article substantiates the necessity of ensuring economic security of the state and combating corruption through the formation of anti–corruption bodies, creation of all necessary conditions for implementation of reforms. The field of application of results. In the field of economic sciences and in practical activities of state structural units. Conclusions. The main results of the study and its theoretical and methodological results can be reduced to the following wording: on the basis of the assessment of the corruption perception index, it follows that the Ukrainian authorities take insufficient measures to effectively combat corruption and, thus, does not sufficiently affect the prevention and neutralization of threats to economic security, reducing the investment attractiveness, macroeconomic stability of Ukraine.
