Abstract
The article deals with modern approaches of scientists to determine the status of criminal-law measures related to the deprivation of juvenile will in Ukraine. Analyzing certain provisions of the above-mentioned approaches and criminal legislation of the country, the author expresses his own opinion and suggests ways of solving one or another problem issues. Special attention is paid to the institute of short-term imprisonment.
