Abstract
The article is devoted to the coverage of the principles of judicial ballistics, of criminalistic technology, studying firearms and ammunition, the regularities of occurrence of traces of their use. The author points out the accumulation of the achievements of theory and practice, the optimal investigation of traces of crimes to determine the circumstances of their commission.
