CRITICAL HISTORY OF NORTHROP FRYE: PRO ET CONTRA

Abstract
The article deals with the establishment of Northrop Frye’s critical thinking under the estimation of Ukrainian, Russian and foreign literary studies. The details of topical and debating point in the estimation of the Canadian scientist’s concepts having been left beyond the national literary studies vision as well as its high estimation, value for the development of universal human thinking are revealed.
