CURRENT STATUS AND FUTURE LEGISLATION ADAPTATION OF UKRAINE TO THE EUROPEAN UNION LEGISLATION IN LEGAL LIABILITY CIVIL SERVANTS

Abstract
The article investigates the question of adaptation of Ukraine’s legislation to EU legal responsibility of public servants. The article analyzed the Recommendations of the Committee of Ministers in this area, the laws of Europe on the legal regulation of the public service, as well as the current legislation of Ukraine on this issue. The study author concludes that today talk about the legal liability of public servants in Ukraine is possible only in the context of individual responsibility of public service, in particular, civil servants and officials of local government, prosecutors, military personnel, etc. This is primarily due to the fact that the public service has not received proper regulation at the level of the current legislation and legal category as effectively fixed at item 15 c. 3 of the Code of Administrative Procedure Ukraine.
