Curve Digitizer – A software for multiple curves digitizing
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2010, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
The Curve Digitizer is software that extracts data from an image file representing a graphic and returns them as pairs of numbers which can then be used for further analysis and applications. Numbers can be read on a computer screen stored in files or copied on paper. The final result is a data set that can be used with other tools such as MSEXCEL. Curve Digitizer provides a useful tool for any researcher or engineer interested in quantifying the data displayed graphically. The image file can be obtained by scanning a document.

Assessment of three WENO type schemes for nonlinear conservative flux functions
This paper focuses on a new comparison of the behavior of three Weighted Essentially Non-Oscillatory (WENO) type numerical schemes for three different nonlinear fluxes, in the case of scalar conservation law. The analyti...
Aerodynamic study of a small horizontal-axis wind turbine
The wind energy is deemed as one of the most durable energetic variants of the future because the wind resources are immense. Furthermore, one predicts that the small wind turbine will play a vital role in the urban envi...
An Iterative Method for Estimating Airfoil Deformation due to Solid Particle Erosion
Helicopter blades are currently constructed with composite materials enveloping honeycomb cores with only the leading and trailing edges made of metal alloys. In some cases, the erosive wear of the bound between the comp...
The hexapod robot for aircraft fuel tank and the use of calculation in the analysis of the effectiveness of radio interference
This paper focuses on the use of calculation for analyzing the effects of radio interference associated with the entry into the aircraft fuel tank of the hexapod robot. The analysis will help to demonstrate how the mobil...
In-flight Ice Accretion Prediction Code
The phenomenon of in-flight icing may affect all types of aircraft. The paper deals with the development of the computational wing airfoil ice accretion prediction code Ice. Presented code versions enable computational r...
