Abstract
Forest chronotope in the latest Polish children's literature.Various variants of the forest chronotope in Polish children's literature of the 21st century were analysed. The author puts forward the thesis that there are three varieties of forest space in the examined lite-rary texts: a symbolic forest that comes from the tradition of the fairy tale, an allegorical forest being the heritage of Aesop's fables and a realistic forest from the travel and adventure fiction. Many mosaic forms of forest creation can also be observed
