ড. আব্দুল্লাহ জাহাঙ্গীর রহ. ও তাঁর ফিকহী রচনাবলি : একটি পদ্ধতিগত বিশ্লেষণ|Dr. Abdullah Jahangir Rh. and His Fiqhi Literature A Methodological Analysis

Abstract
Among those intellectuals who have been responsible for disseminating true Islamic knowledge through daʻwah in Bangladesh, Dr. Abdullah Jahangir is the most prominent among them. He strove to formulate his timely vision and bring about unity among Muslims of the Ummah through his sincere and unique efforts and love for the Muslim Ummah. He stressed upon following the middle path in all aspects of Islam in human life. This article discusses his life, his thought and the various aspects of his philosophy and vision. Due to the unavailability of any books or prior articles discussing his life and visions, this article relies on the interview method to gather information. At the same time, it also uses the deductive process. This research concludes that Dr. Abdullah Jahangir was an intellectual of many talents. The mission of his life was Muslim unity and to dispel all extremist practices in favour of a middle path approach in life based upon the Quran and pure Sunnah. সাম্প্রতিক কালে বাংলাদেশে সহীহ ইসলামী জ্ঞান-বিজ্ঞান ও দাওয়াহ প্রচার-প্রসারে যেসব মনীষী অনবদ্য অবদান রেখেছেন ড. আব্দুল্লাহ জাহাঙ্গীর রহ. তাঁদের মধ্যে প্রাতস্মরণীয়। নিজস্ব পদ্ধতিতে আন্তরিকতার সর্বোচ্চ অবস্থান থেকে উম্মতের দরদী হয়ে তিনি মুসলিম ঐক্যের চিন্তা করেছেন এবং এ বিষয়ে পেশ করেছেন যুগোপযোগী দর্শন। মানব জীবনের প্রতিটি স্তরে ইসলাম পরিপালনে তিনি মধ্যপন্থার উপর জোর দেন। তাঁর রচনাবলিতে এর স্পষ্ট ছাপ পরিলক্ষিত হয়েছে। এ মহান মনীষীর জীবন, তাঁর চিন্তা ও দর্শনের বিভিন্ন দিক এবং তাঁর ফিকহী রচনাবলি সম্পর্কে আলোচনার উদ্দেশ্যে এ প্রবন্ধ প্রণীত হয়েছে। এ সম্পর্কিত কোন গ্রন্থ বা লেখা না থাকায় প্রবন্ধটি প্রণয়নের ক্ষেত্রে বেশিরভাগ নির্ভর করা হয়েছে সাক্ষাতকার পদ্ধতির ওপর। সাথে সাথে অবরোহ পদ্ধতিরও প্রয়োগ করা হয়েছে। গবেষণা থেকে প্রমাণিত হয়েছে, ড. শায়খ আব্দুল্লাহ জাহাঙ্গীর ছিলেন বহুমুখী প্রতিভার অধিকারী এক মনীষী, যার জীবনের মিশনই ছিল ইসলামী ঐক্য ও সব ধরনের কট্টরপন্থার বিলোপ সাধন করে মধ্যপন্থার ভিত্তিতে কুরআন ও বিশুদ্ধ সুন্নাহর আলোকে জীবন পরিচালনা।
