DEFINITION OF THE ESSENCE OF “THE STOCK MARKET OF SECURITIES”

Abstract
The article analyzes the definition of the concept of “stock market of securities”, based on the synthesis of the interpretation of the concept of “stock market securities” identified the most common approaches used in the scientific literature to determine its essence. The EU legislation is analyzed in order to adapt the national legislation of Ukraine with regard to “modernization” of the definition of the essence of the concepts of “regulated (organized) market” and “regulated market operator”. Analysis of scientific works and research on the essence of the concept of “stock market securities” allowed us to identify the main characteristics that are key and underpin the definition of the concept of “stock market securities” by different scholars, and formulate the actual definition of this definition.
