DEFINITION OF TIME OF PASSENGER TRAINING WITH THE USE OF THEORY OF SCHEDULES

Abstract
In the article strategic directions of development of passenger transportation by rail in Ukraine and countries of the world are considered. Attention is paid to the organization of train traffic on high-speed highways. The purpose of the study is to improve passenger transportation by rail by rationalizing the departure time of passenger trains. To improve the efficiency of the Ukrainian railway transport, it is suggested to determine the time of departure of trains using the theory of timetables, which will help to take into account the demand of passengers for transportation, the availability of rolling stock and the thread of the traffic schedule to meet demand. A comparison of the transport of passengers to a distance of 200-500 km between rail and air transport was compared. It is shown that rail transportation has the advantage, since trains can stop at intermediate stations for landing - disembarking passengers. This fact does not greatly affect the route speed, but it allows you to attract additional customers.
