DEFINITIONS OF “PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION” IN UKRAINIAN AND EUROPEAN DOCTRINES OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW: COHERENCE OF SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES

Abstract
In the article the author carried out a comprehensive study of the issues of definitions, etymology and the translation from English to Ukrainian the term “public administration” – the basic category of modern administrative law of Ukraine and European countries. The author generalized definitions of public administration from legal doctrines of countries of European continental and Anglo Saxon legal systems. Their influence on domestic administrative law was clarified.
