Journal Title: Journal of Air Force Medical University - Year 2023, Vol 44, Issue 9
Abstract
Objective To design a portable full-automatic cleaning and disinfection device for oral impression, so as to realize rapid, effective and full-automatic cleaning and disinfection of oral impression. Methods The device was composed of disinfection bin, placement bin, control panel and mechanical equipment. The industrial grade PLC was used as the main control system, the perfect cleaning and disinfection algorithm was combined with the nano-silver composite antibacterial material as the basic firmware of the device to complete the design of the portable full-automatic cleaning and disinfection device for oral impression, and the use and disinfection effect of the device were tested and analyzed. Results A portable full-automatic cleaning and disinfection device for oral impression was successfully designed, with a reasonable overall structural layout and high utilization of space inside the cabin. The installation, positioning, and fixation of the equipment were optimized, making it convenient and reliable to use. Conclusion The portable full-automatic cleaning and disinfection of oral impression in complex field has been realized, forming a new oral medical support technology platform suitable for the needs of grass-roots oral hospitals, avoiding cross-infection accidents of oral impression in oral medical departments, and improving the quality control standard of oral impression.
